Staying open minded at Form events

 

Events by Form holds a wide range of events that look to develop connections amongst the community, through many different avenues and aspects such as small group and intimate discussions, free and full body movement and expression, yoga and philosophy just to name a few.

Many of the experiences and aspects may be new to our guests and communities, and in the beginning this can be a scary factor or a deterrent from coming along to experience these events.

However, if we come back to our own important principles and realisations that we are interested in learning new things, trying new experiences and staying open to things that might really benefit us this will make the process significantly easier.

Think about all the times that you have put yourself in a vulnerable position and outside your comfort zone, and the stresses and anxieties that you felt in this situation. The fear of this unknown event is always greater than what the event will actually bring to you!

Think about all the times you have stressed about these kinds of things in the past, are you still stressing and over thinking them now, after they have occurred. Most probably not!

So if you see an event or workshop through Events by Form that is interesting to you and you see it as an opportunity, do not let fear control you or let your own mindset rationalise reasons why you should not get involved in something new.
